President’s Message

Dear Friends and Supporters:

On behalf of the Little Rock Nine® Foundation, I am pleased to welcome you to our website. We continually make enhancements to our website in order to enable you to find the information about the Little Rock Nine, our Foundation and its Scholarship Program, and highlights from our 50th Anniversary Celebration, held in September of 2007. 

As one of the Little Rock Nine, September 25, 1957 was a historic day for all of us.  More than fifty years later, the nine of us are still committed to the same mission and principles – to achieve a quality education for all children.  The experiences of 1957 still guide us to give back to our community, through the Little Rock Nine® Foundation. 

Our Foundation could not exist without the generosity of our many friends and supporters.  The website gives information on how you can continue to give or become involved in helping us assure that our young people receive the skills they need to prepare to compete in the 21st century.
